Before delving into the educational world, Dr. Weiner was an accomplished entertainer and toured the world as a singer, dancer, actor, and director, performing for audiences on stage, in concert halls, and even in Vatican City for the Pope. This eclectic background enables her to shed a new perspective on the value of entertainment in education, a topic she passionately and vociferously debates.

Dr. Weiner is a sought-after speaker and has been invited to speak at several major conferences including WebNet 99, Women in Technology (WIT), The National Education Computing Conference (NECC) and The Kentucky Educational Technology Conference (KETC). She is an active member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS), Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) and The Computer Using Educators (CUE) organization.

In addition to her degrees from Pepperdine, Dr. Weiner also graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
